Description

This blend was especially formulated as an aftershave lotion though some women enjoy its exotic scent as a perfumed moisturiser. We use the Western Australian sandalwood for its calming therapeutic values and it’s anti-bacterial, antiseptic properties. The Queensland lemon myrtle, used traditionally by Indigenous Australians for healing skin, has been selected for its fresh aroma and its skin cleansing properties and rose geranium acts as a good skin balancer.

The green bottles help protect the jojoba and essentials oils from sunlight.

Jojoba Essential Sandalwood Blend.

  • Jojoba Essential Sandalwood Blend as a shaving aid for face (or legs!)
    Use Jojoba Essential instead of shaving cream or soap to aid shaving or gently massage a small amount into your skin after shaving. Men with sensitive skin often use our aftershaves when others cause skin problems – most normal aftershaves are astringent and tend to dry skin whereas jojoba is moisturising and counteracts razor burn. The anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, skin balancing effects and the exotic aroma of the essential oils enhance the qualities of jojoba. If used as a pre-shaving lotion there is no need for an aftershave as the skin will already be refreshed and supple.
  • Jojoba Essential Sandalwood Blend as a bath oil
    A few drops of this blend added to bath water really makes a difference to how your skin feels after it has been dried and it’s exotic aroma provides another dimension to the therapeutic effects of the essential oils. Note Jojoba Essential does not contain an emulsifier so it may be necessary to wipe a small amount of oil from the bath after the water has been discarded. Lack of an emulsifier is in keeping with our philosophy of “no added chemicals”. The water can be safely recycled on the garden.
  • Jojoba Essential Sandalwood Blend as a massage lotion
    Jojoba makes an excellent massage lotion with the advantages of a non-oily feel, allowing firm contact while leaving the skin moisturised but not greasy. It also has a long shelf life compared to other plant based massage lotions. Jojoba Essential Sandalwood Blend’s combination of essential oils promotes an overall calming feeling making it particularly useful as a special massage lotion.
  • A naturally perfumed skin moisturiser
    Pump a few drops of Jojoba Essential into the palm of your hand. Apply to skin and gently massage the area with fingertips; it will be readily absorbed if applied sparingly. Although skin may feel oily at first, the jojoba is quickly absorbed into the deeper layers of skin and in a few minutes your skin will feel smooth and silky.
